Join Zeshion’s elite pro Nuno “Stru” Figuereido on an all inclusive Kite Camp in Portugal’s best summer spot! It will be a 7 days adventure retreat at Viana Do Castelo / September 1-8, 2019!

This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will combine world-class kitesurfing with Stru, a World Guinness Record holder, so you can master your skills in this kite spot that will make your jaw drop. This area gets some of those most consistent wind on the entire Portuguese coastline, and September is a reliable months for wind when the thermic El Nortada winds blow in cross / cross-off from the right. That makes it an ideal spot for wave riding when the Atlantic swells roll in.

For the non-kite days the city of Viana do Castelo is like something out of a story book. The people are warm… The food is delicious… And wandering the old city streets is like walking through a history book and a fairy tale at the same time.

This amazing retreat includes kite guest house accommodations with a private pool and is just 100 mtrs. from the beach, 2 meals per day & hydration, kitesurf techniques for intermediate and advance students, sports video-analysis and cultural activities for the non-kite days.

The amazing thing about the Castelo’s surf breaks is that it has a wave for everyone! There is no better way to learn than interacting on-site with Stru, as other students and GKA riders have experienced in this place.

Viana Do Castelo

Viana Do Castelo is a spot that’s getting a name for itself on the international scene, with the GKA making a stop here for the Strapless World Tour, and just a short 1hr 15min flight from Madrid or 2hr 30min flight from London with budget tickets available.

This gorgeous town is a lot smaller than nearby Porto (where the closest airport is) but that’s part of the enchantment. You will be able to go and exploring a traditional, charming town with an authentic old town, with hidden little streets and epic views across the river and over the kite spot from the Santa Luzia Church that sits high above town.

For dinner opportunities, the local food and wine is also pretty epic, and you can find everything from traditional dishes to unreal sushi in Viana itself.
